Sir EDWARD MEDLYCOTT   (1832-1902),   the fourth baronet.

ELIZABETH MEDLYCOTT   (-),   married John Hutchings of Sherborne

Rev Sir HUBERT MEDLYCOTT   (1849-1920),   the sixth baronet
inherited Sandford Orcas Manor in 1914 and he moved there in 1916.

Sir HUBERT MEDLYCOTT   (1874-1964),   the seventh baronet

JAMES MEDLYCOTT   (1658-1731)  
built Ven House on the eastern edge of Milborne Port, Somerset, in 1698. It was the seat of the Medlycott family for over two centuries.

Admiral Sir MERVYN MEDLYCOTT   (1837-1908),   the fifth baronet

Sir MERVYN MEDLYCOTT   (b.1947),   the ninth baronet
lives at Sandford Orcas Manor.

THOMAS HUTCHINGS MEDLYCOTT   (1731-1795)  

Sir WILLIAM MEDLYCOTT   (1767-1835),   created baronet 8 Oct 1808

Sir WILLIAM MEDLYCOTT   (1831-87),   the third baronet

Sir WILLIAM COLES MEDLYCOTT   (1806-82),   the second baronet
carried out extensive alterations to the family seat, Ven House at Milborne Port, in 1836/7.

Sandford Orcas Manor was bought by the family in 1736. It descended to a junior branch of the family but was left to the Rev Sir Hubert Medlycott in 1914.

  SOMERSET

  MILBORNE PORT,   Somerset
VEN HOUSE,   on the Salisbury Road near Milborne Port was the seat of the Medlycott family for over two hundred years. Built in 1698 by James Medlycott, it was much altered to give the present Queen Anne mansion in 1835. The family owned Ven House until 1957 but had not lived there for many years excepting for six months in 1929. It is a Grade I Listed Building and its gardens are included in the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
YARD HOUSE   in Milborne Port was the home of the eighth baronet, Sir Christopher.
