Maintenance

The rights of way are maintained by three Access Works' Teams of two peole each who carry out a diverse range of work including the clearing of new growth such as brambles and nettles, waymarking, constructing boardwalks, bridges, gates and stilesand opening up long-forgotten and overgrown paths for use. Wherever possible, the teams are careful to liase with local landowners and farmers to maintain a good working relationship and use their local knowledge.

To report a problem on a public right of way in Dorset, phone 01305 224463.

Remember that it is very helpful if you can provide an accurate grid reference so that the location of the problem can be pinpointed on a map.
