THE PARISH CHURCH
Much of the parish church is recent but it has retained its 15th century tower. The nave has a timber roof with small bosses and carved flowers along the walls. In the chancel is a pillar piscina and a good 15th century stone screen. The font is of rough Norman workmanship.

THE LEGEND OF CONJUROR MINTERNE
There are several legends about Conjuror Minterne, a local squire of the 17th century. One tells that the squire jumped his horse over the church tower and knocked off one of its pinnacles. Another, that when he died, he left instructions that he was to be buried half in - and half out - of the church and the problem was solved by burying him below a wall.
