Early Years

Anne was the daughter of Thomas Boleyn, Earl of Wiltshire, and Elizabeth Boleyn (ne Howard), the daughter of the 2nd Duke of Norfolk. The date her birth is uncertain, but such cicumstantial evidence as does survive suggests that it was in the early summer of 1507.
